The still-burning corpse of Anna Matias was pulled from the furnace that heats the Highbridge building’s boiler just after 11 a.m. Saturday, police and witnesses said.

An hour earlier, the victim’s father, Miguel Matias, called 911 to say he had strangled his daughter for using his computer to chat with a boy, the sources said.

Matias said he then stripped off her clothes, opened the manhole-size cover to the furnace and threw her body inside, they said.

El todavía quemando cadáver de Anna Matías fue retirado desde el horno que calienta el Highbridge, la caldera del edificio, justo después del 11 de la mañana sábado, la policía y los testigos dijeron.

Una hora antes, el padre de la víctima, Miguel Matías, llamado al 911 para decir que había estrangulado a su hija para utilizar su ordenador y para chatear con un chico, las fuentes dijeron.

Matías dijo que entonces el la despojó de su ropa, abrió la boca de inspección que cubre el horno y arrojaba su cuerpo dentro, dijeron.
