During the WordPress 2.7 beta test phase you will become a SuperEditor instantly upon subscribing:

This means that you will be able to commit any tomfoolery on this site (except touch the users, their rights, etc.) *AS LONG AS YOU DOCUMENT IT* (!).

This being a test site we *want* people testing out stuff, themes, plugs etc. before they gotta hit their precious home pages/blogs seriously, but: We will monitor the site extensively (once the hour more or less), if you fool around without documentation on why and what you have done, YOU ARE OUT, seriously (we are aware we will get spammed, but those we will simply kill, incl. IP range).

We have sufficient layers of backups both of the database as well as of the setups to correct any error from your side (dont worry to accidentally destroy something, that is what makes this site interesting ) during the test phase, but dont attempt malevolent attacks, they wont yield much.

Once the official release is out, all SuperEditor priveleges wil be reverted to Editor, when the next mayor revisio of WP is on the horizon this will automatically change back again.

Tests & Results (more added as we go):

- (as expected) lighter-admin-dropdown-menus wont work with WP 2.7 >> deactivated

- Simple Tags needs tweaking in order to work:

• OPEN FILE simple-tags.php AND FIND LINE CONTAINING
  if ( strpos($wp_version, ‘2.5′) !== false || strpos($wp_version, ‘2.6′) !== false )
  {
• REPLACE WITH THE LINE BELOW
  if ( strpos($wp_version, ‘2.5′) !== false || strpos($wp_version, ‘2.6′) !== false ||
  strpos($wp_version, ‘2.7′) !== false ) {

and all features will work in WP 2.7 (thanks to “lecactusov” who pointed to this tweak

- the “Unordered List” button does not work as it used to:

• Randomly when clicking it twice (in visual mode) it EITHER cancels the list OR makes a nested list entry
• Consequently, nested lists dont work in visual mode consistently

and you have to end the lists in “HTML” mode as you cannot predict how the button will react

- Nested Unordered Lists dont work in HTML mode either, if you enter the code and save the post, WP insists on changing the code to un-nest the list (which is why I write this entry in the artificial visually done nested list style)

We will be testing WordPress 2.7 beta 3 from today, so dont be surprised if some stuff should not work…

Yes, he has concentrated his evil activities on Haevy Metal Music now, and has infiltrated a Band named “Nuclear” (and if this name doesnt say it all, the title of his newest CD makes it even clearer: “Sadistic Method For Crime”). Looks like on the way he had to get rid of a Mauricio Poblete to get the spot, and he now calls himself “Matias LV”…

We even got hold of a picture (see below), the problem is we dont know who of the guys is Matias? MITs to work, please!

Sí, parece que ha centrado sus actividades peligrosas en Música Heavy ahora, y ha infiltrado en una banda llamada “Nuclear” (y si este nombre no lo dice todo, el título de su más reciente CD hace que sea aún más claro: “Sádico método para un crimen” ). Parece que en el camino tuvo que deshacerse de un tal Mauricio Poblete para obtener el puesto, y que ahora se llama “Matias LV”…

Incluso hemos encontrado una imagen (véase más aabajo), el problema es, que nosotros no sabemos quien de los tios es Matías? MITs al trabajo, por favor!
